mitos de cthulhu
  10

A series of "cosmic horror" stories begun by American writer Howard Phillips Lovecraft in the first half of the 20th century. Its main protagonists are ancient and monstrous beings who inhabited the planet before humanity and were expelled to another plane of time and space for practicing black magic, but they always stalk this world trying to regain their dominion through humans who follow their rites or who manage to enter their dimension to open a portal to Earth. Among these primeval creatures, Cthulhu is not the most powerful, but it is the most mentioned and well-known from the short story The Call of Cthulhu (1928).
